Items listed on this page are factory seconds, discontinued, screw ups, or damaged in some way. In many cases the defects would never be noticed by most customers. Most of the uniforms suffer from minor material or assembly flaws. The majority of the time this means a small hole or tear (which we have usually repaired), a misplaced or extra snap, a sloppy buttonhole, or runners or misprints in the fabric. Most if not all are completely serviceable, the flaws only affecting the appearance, and they will perform as a first quality item would. We will usually list the specific defect with the item.

Items listed on this page are not returnable. Most are discounted at least 35-50% and will not be restocked. The majority of the defects are not visible without careful examination and would not be "defected" if offered by most other vendors.

There are no quantity discounts on closeout items unless specifically noted in the item description. Some we have only 1 or 2 of, while others are available by the dozen.

Overselling:
We try to keep this page updated a quickly as possible, but many of the items are available in quantities of 2 or 3 and sell out very quickly. Likewise, we sometimes have several customers order the same item within a few moments and we end up selling them twice. You can get pissy and have a tizzy fit, that's your prerogative. But we try to be a s clear as possible despite the occasional mistake.

Hold/ Layaways:
We normally will hold an item for 7 days if you wish to mail a money order. However, due to a torrent of recent antics, closeout items are first come, first serve. Whoever pays for the item first, gets it. As many items are singles, it is too much aggravation trying to keep this page current when people call and claim to be sending money, then repeatedly call with excuses for further delays. We do not offer layaways on any items period, for the same reasons.

	Original US "Blucher Boots": Size 14 only. All appear to be unissued, but are grimey and dusty from storage.However, they are 60 years old so this doesn't necessarily equate to "brand new". They may have a few cracks in the leather, but most clean up well. Some do have laces, but they tend to be weak. $50 No time to do a pic this week due to Show of Shows. There is a pic of a pair on page 60 of the "Government Issue" collector's guide. These are the high top cold weather-lace up boots.

	M1943 Field Jacket Hood, Closeout Used but serviceable hoods for the M1943 Field Jackets. (They will also fit the M51's.) Many still have their labels, some legible, many are not. Most of the ones that I could read are WWII dates, but there are a few M51 hoods (identical to M43's except for the date.). Condition varies from nearly new to pretty worn, but all are very serviceable. Each $2.00 or 10/ $5.00
