G-43 Magazine Pouch:
Reproduction of the Type II leather pouch . Holds two, 10-round G/K-43
magazines, and has belt loops and D-ring on the back. Authenticity-wise,
these are absolutely kick-ass and are 100% identical to the original
sample we sent to pattern. The weight and finish of the leather, the
light corrosion on the rivets and the overall appearance is phenominal!
These will be impossible to distinguish from originals in short order.
$50.00 each
NITWIT NOTE: Above are comparison photos with
an original pouch. Most "originals" are postwar Czech issue
(they used the G43 into the 1950's) or Czech reproductions aged in
a cement mixer outside of Prague. A couple of rocket scientist "unit
commanders" expressed concern that these don't look real. I'm
not sure what the hell they think are real (perhaps Norinco SKS pouches??)
but here's the proof.
AUTHENTICITY NOTE: When issued, normally only
one G-43 pouch was supplied... additional ammunition was kept
on stripper clips in a standard K98 pouch. Regulations called for
the G-43 pouch to be worn on the left side of the belt, and the K98
pouch on the right.
