Mess Tin Straps: Excellent-quality repros of the black leather straps used to secure the mess tin. Hand-sewn in white thread and fitted with gray-painted roller buckles; maker-marked and dated.
Note: Our reproduction mess tin strap are NOT long enough (with out poking an extra 2 adjustment holes) for BGS mess tins due to their being 3/4" (2cm) taller than WWII pattern mess tins.

Tornister Straps: Black leather straps designed to secure the blanket and/ or greatcoat to the Tornister Packs or A-frames. These quickly found general purpose use for carrying all sorts of gear, including Zeltbahns, gas cape bags, and so forth. These straps have an extra, quick-release strap sewn to the buckle-end to allow for attaching and releasing gear, which is bound by the strap, without having to unroll it. Hand-sewn in white thread and fitted with gray-painted roller buckles; maker-marked and dated.
