Fallschirmjäger Gravity Knife
High quality reproduction German Paratrooper knife, also called a "gravity knife" due to the means by which the blade extends. These were designed to help cut and untangle parachute suspension lines. These knives are very close to the originals- they were made about 10 years ago and we have a rather limited supply. The only marking is the arrow in the hilt- there are no maker marks on the blades. They disassemble like the originals- but the parts do not interchange readily.

We have so many people buying these who are trying to swap broken or damaged original parts and then return them, that we will no longer accept these for return. These are all inspected and tested before we send them out. If you break the band while trying to put it on your original knife with pliers and a hammer, it's your problem.

Due to the fact that knives are classified as "weapons" by many countries, we are not willing to deal with the headaches of various customs regulations.
2. No returns if you break these. So far, only 2 have been broken, both by the same guy- who I suspect was trying to swap the parts with his originals. We have double-checked all of these. All are in good condition when they leave here. It is possible to break the spring band- but this is the same problem originals have. Other than the one individual, there have been no problems. This is just a heads-up for chuckleheads.
3. Metallurgical analysis? Sorry, we don't have this data for those of you who require it. If you want to send one off to USC and have them use their electron microscope on it, we'll gladly publish the findings.
