Zeltbahn/ Tent FAQ

Tent Stakes? Camping supply store. (Originals are about $25 each. We do not have any for sale.)
How do I set up a tent? Have one of your buddies or a 4th grader show you. It's not difficult, but to try and do it here in text would not be easy.

Splinter Zeltbahn
Reproduction of the M31 Zeltbahn in Splinter Camo used by all branches of the Wehrmacht throughout W.W.II. Quality shelter quarters made in the correct size and pattern, from cotton poplin fabric with zinc plated buttons and grommets. This new batch looks very good.
There is one minor flaw from the standpoint of being anal:
Buttons are 4 hole instead of 3 hole.
Imported.
Each $75.00
Splinter Zelt Tent (Set of 4 Splinter Zelts) $275.00
Poles, stakes or rope NOT included.

Note: Due to the fact that we DO NOT manufacture these, we CANNOT provide fabric samples.

The colors in the full size pics look awful. I'll try to improve them later. The last two pics are much more accurate. Yes, these are all the same zeltbahn. There are no other colors..

Waffen SS Oak Leaf Camo Zeltbahns:
New production. These are made from the same fabric as our new generation of "Oak Leaf A" pattern camouflage used on Smocks and helmet covers. These are the same size and pattern as originals, complete with 3-hole buttons and zinc grommets. Yes, the buttons are sewn on. By hand.
The cotton poplin is woven to the same specifications as original cloth. It is water repellant, but not water proof. (Like originals.) At some point I intend to field test a set to see how well they compare to the real ones at which point I'll post the results.
Unlike the Heer Splinter Zelts, these have no "historical" flaws. Aside from the fact that the shades of camo on all parts matches perfectly. Farbs rejoice!
$100.00
Oak Zelt Tent (Set of 4 SS Oak Zelts) $395.00
Why no "deals" on 4 zelts? These were a major pain to get made and we have to install the hardware here. They are not made by the same company as the Splinter Zeltbahns that are cheaper. The SS zelts are better fabric, have 3 hole buttons and most grommets are original. That are comparable in quality to the zelts made by SM we have carried in the past which are almost twice as much.
Poles, stakes or rope NOT included.

I know the pic is of 3 poles which is incredibly confusing when the "set" has 4. But if you only want one pole, that might be confusing too, right? Rest assured, if you order 4, you will get 4. Not just 3. Unless Nick is having a bad day or Gina is stoned again. In those cases, you might get 3. Or 2. Anwyay, this is what the damned things look like. Order as many or as few as you like. The number in the photo has no magical significance. Someday I'll take a new one with pic of four. Until then you'll just have to take our word for it that we can count.

If you can't comprehend this you are a complete retard and have no business trying to set up a tent in the first place- much less handling guns and bayonets.

Zelt Poles
Interlocking wood and metal tent poles for use with zeltbahn tents. They are Norwegian manufacture, but the same design as W.W.II German. If you sand off the maker marks...there is no difference. Not a hint, just a statement.
Weenie Warning: There are about a dozen different makers and colors of wood on these things. Most likely they will all be a little different from one another.
If you gotta have perfectly matching tent poles...you won't be happy with these. Just go away....
Application: It takes 4 to put up a standard 4-zelt tent. In theory, soldiers each had one or two poles and 3 stakes, as it took 4 guys to make a tent. But that can be inconvenient. So...
Each $3.00
Set of 4: $8.00

Tent Rope
This is not original or exact reproduction genuine issue paratrooper tent rope- it's simply 6ft. of 100% cotton cord. This is enough to place loops in each of the grommet holes to use with your stakes.
$2.00
