Inside Detail

W.W.II German Flashlights: Original WWII era "Petrix" brand flashlights. The are at least a couple dozen varieties of military flashlights. This is one of them. They are all the style pictured: field gray in color, red and blue filters, top switch and leather tab to affix the light to your shoulderboard or pocket button. Some are Waffenamted inside, but we suspect this was done after the war by a vendor to in an attempt to increase the value.
Collector Nightmare Note:
All are stamped "Made in Germany" under the "Petrix" logo. That indicates production before 1946. Items made after the War were stamped "Made in W. (or "West") Germany".
Condition:
All are in unissued condition. However, most have some dirt, very slight corrosion, perhaps a ding or maybe (horrors!) a chip in the paint. All are complete and should work. However, this may require some minor work, such as cleaning contacts or adjusting them to fit the battery firmly. If bending a brass tab with your finger or wiping off the contacts sounds difficult, don't buy one of these! You might strain yourself.
