Internal Suspenders
Used on M36 and M40 Tunics. (These will not work in M43 tunics.) As designed in the early 1930's, the German tunics used an internal suspension system with belt hooks to support the field gear. By 1940, this arrangement was deemed impractical and Y-straps were introduced to replace it. This is still the easiest was to use belt hooks with the M36 and M40 tunics and was used until the end of the War. Our suspenders are good quality reproductions made from gray cotton canvas. They are long for customers up to 6'4".
Pair $20.00
FYI: Our suspenders are straight- so were originals. If you've seen curved ones, that's what happens after they are worn, and sweated all over for weeks on end. Cloth is flexible ya know...

Reproduction Tunic Belt Hooks
These are galvanized steel, identical to WWII issue.
Each $3.00 or 4/$10.00

German Tunic Collarbinds
Exact copy of the WWII German tunic Kragenbinde. These are what
those mysterious buttons in the collars are for.
(You may have to reposition the buttons in your tunic collar as they
always seem to vary.)
Each $10.00
FYI: Like internal suspenders, some originals appear to be curved- but that's what happens after days and weeks of wear. The cloth gets wet with sweat, and the body heat forms it around the neck. These are just like new originals. After some wear, they will curve too...
