All items on this page are guaranteed original. However, we do NOT warranty them in any other way- in other words, if you choose to wear one to a reenactment and you rip the sleeve out- that's not our problem. This may sound ridiculous, but after nearly 20 years experiences, we know otherwise.
I have opted to describe any flaws or irregularities in a separate section in each description. The "Damage / issues" sections will describe just that- any damage (aside from normal aging), repairs or modifications to the item.

M36 NCO Tunic, Infantrie Regt. 5:
Mint condition M36 tunic. Nearly unissued. This is one of the nicest M36's I've ever seen or had. There is no damage, no signs of wear whatsoever. Dated 1940, size 96/65 (38R).
Unlike many NCO tunics, this one has not been shortened or tailored.
All insignia is hand applied, except for the cuff title, but appears to be period done. The tresse on the shoulderboards has oxidized more than that on the collar- so they don't match in color. This is not uncommon since not all tresse came from the same roll, but some people might consider this a detraction.
I did look up and Inf. Regt 5 and it did not fight at Narvik. However, despite the insignia being hand stitched, I don't think this is a postwar "put together". Despite the attitude of the "collecting community" that all German soldiers carried sewing machines in their sewing kits...and nothing was EVER done by hand...the award loops are correctly done, and the cuff title is not a particularly desirable unit (NCO prep-school).
Damage/ issues: A few moth nips on the shoulderboards.

Heer M43 Tunic, Italian Wool:
Super nice, near perfect example of a late-War Heer EM tunic. Made from wool confiscated from Italy after its capitulation in September 1943. Interestingly, instead of being made from wool or HBT, the undercollar is made from olive tropical uniform cloth.
This is a very clean tunic which appears to have been worn briefly if at all. Although there are several nicks in the lining, several appear to be weaving flaws in the fabric. There is no wear or soiling at the collar or cuffs. I honestly can't decide if this has actually been worn or not. Either way, it's a very clean tunic.
Size 92/72 36L.
Damage/ issues:
1. Belt hook ramps have been removed.
2. A few small holes in the lining.
3. Breast eagle probably re-sewn.
4. Buttons inside the collar for collar bind have been removed.

Gebirgsjager Anorak w/ Trousers:
Field gray reversible to white, wind-water proof Gebirgsjager uniform. Made from coated cotton poplin, with pressed fiber buttons. The white side appears to have been printed- much like the colors on mouse-gray parkas. This set is unissued and near mint. The only signs of age are that the white side is more of a very light gray that's yellowing a bit, there is some oxidation on the metal eyelets, and a handful of small storage stains.
The trousers are unmarked, while the anorak has a maker logo of which "Wien" (Vienna) is the only legible word. Marked "3" for the size. One button on the trousers appears to have been replaced- but there's no signs of wear on them.
The two garments are nearly a perfect match in color, but the fabric of the trousers is slightly softer.
Damage/ issues: None.

M42 Smock, Plane Tree 5/6:
Nice, "text book" second model Waffen SS smock in hand-screened 5/6 Plane Tree camouflage. This uniform is in worn but very good condition with only minor fading and a few small snags and stains. There are no major repairs or modifications- the only detraction is that the camo loops have been removed. (This is fairly common- they tend to snag on branches when the soldier moves through brush and can get annoying.)
Construction is typical for these smocks: The body and sleeves are all made from 5/6 plane tree. The pocket flaps and collar band appear to be 1/2 plane tree and the pocket interfacings are blurred edge. Thread is the correct charcoal gray and the side seams are made with a double needle lockstitch equipped with a folder. The buttons are reinforced with a scrap of camo fabric, and the buttonholes are keyhole with a bartack.
Damage/ issues:
1. Camo loops have been removed.
2. Missing draw cord.
3. A few small stains.
