Russian M40 Helmets: These are early Model 1940 Russian shells, re-lined and re-issued by the Czech army in the 1950s. (These have the rivets positioned higher on the shell than the later war models.) The helmets are all in good shape, and the leather liners and chin straps are in very good condition. Best of all, the liners are adjustable, and the shells are the larger size. These are the largest size Russian steel pots, size "3". The Czechs simply had the foresight to use an adjustable liner.
$30.00
Repeat, these liners are adjustable! If it's too small...look at the back of the liner. The band adjusts under the leather like a baseball cap.

NOTE: Ideally, the WW II style liner should be a cloth drawstring or the later 3-pad type (similar to WW I German). We do not have a source for refitting these helmets at this time. "UNIFORMS OF THE SOVIET UNION 19181945" (D. Webster & C. Nelson) has great illustrations of the two correct liners.
