How fast will I post your event? Not very. This page is only updated once every 4-6 weeks. Temper tantrums and threats will only result in me deleting your event or never posting it in the first place. The calendars below are updated more frequently and are where I acquire most of these listings from. So, yes, I'm a plagarist.
This page is dedicated to WWII events, specifically Reenactments, Air Shows and Military Shows. Despite their apparent similarity, regular gun or gun and knife shows will not be listed. There are simply too many of them and it would be a full time job to keep up with. Look in Shotgun News for gun show schedules or check the Gun Show Calendar website for gunshows across the US.
Only WWII Reenactments (Aka Living History shindigs) and Militaria Shows will be listed here: .
I reserve the right to refuse any listing for any reason that strikes me*. Listings are free.
*Listings lacking a date, location or anything I deem inappropriate or irrelevant. This includes but is not limited to: white power roundups, action doll orgies, nazi paint ball tournaments, Buchenwald Bashes, etc, etc.
Other Calendars:
Although I try to keep ours as up to date as possible, I will link other website's events ca lenders here in case I miss a few. These ca lenders I have found to be well maintained and up to date:
MVPA Event Calendar: This calendar has many events worldwide, mostly dedicated to military vehicles and swap meets. Most of these events we do not have on our calendar.
RKKA Events: The Bolshevik's events page. Russian Front events in the US.
HRS Event Calendar: WWII Historical Reenactment Society's calendar.
20th Century G.I.: Events calendar for the Mid-west.
CHG Calendar: California and western events.
WW2 RPS: US Events.
If you guys run across any other well done and legible calendars, let me know and I'll post them.
Thanks
Hey! Pay Attention!
This year is the worst so far- almost no one is heeding my request to put your event listing into the format below. Almost every email is full of attachments, CSS files, and 3,000 word sales pitches crowing about your event.
From here on, unless you put the listing into the nice, simple, text only format below, it gets deleted. To translate the various formats and utter gibberish some of you send me will take all damned day- this page is a courtesy and a favor- not a DUTY! Keep it simple and to the point. You can post as much puffery, gibberish, attachments, photos and videos as you wish on your event website. I'll link it when I have time-
