Original WWII German MG42 spare barrel carriers, fully restored. Last Summer I picked the best condition carriers from a small pile that had all been used postwar by Austria or Yugoslavia. We removed the cosmoline, multiple layers of old paint, cleaned them, repaired as necessary, primed and repainted them with custom matched Dunkelgelb paint. Then we installed our exact reproduction slings with correctly marked "LUX" clamps.

Dated 1943, marked "wa" (HASAG), "bpr" (Johannes Grossfuss), or "gpo" (Fröhlich & Wolter). These all have the hold open latch as shown in the photos.
