Original, unissued US WWII trouser suspenders. These are a late War pattern, intended for the field trousers. They attach to the button in the trousers- some styles of US trousers don't have buttons for suspenders, then they will have to be sewn in. The front straps have sewn slots which allow one to adjust the length by moving the small strip of webbing with the buttonholes.
At full adjustment, they are 40" long. This should work for most people up to 6ft in height.
