Top quality WWII reinforced jump jacket and trousers as worn by American paratroopers in Normandy. Exclusive to ATF, we made our own patterns based off original jump uniforms and QMC drawings in 1999 when we manufactured them here. Eventually, the high labor costs forced us to partner with an overseas factory to produce a new generation- and these are as good or better. We still use genuine Scovil brand snaps, specially ordered in a zinc finish as was common on the authentic uniforms.

Chest Size: Order your normal chest size. If you are an odd size (43, 45, etc) order up. If you need a long or short, we only make every other size 36, 40, 44, etc.. Again, order up. (40, 44, 48 actually = M, L, XL.)
Length: We now have 3 lengths of M42 jackets. This is pretty simple-
Short: 32" sleeve, or under 5' 8"
Regular: 34" sleeve, 5'9"-6'1"
Long: 36" sleeve, over 6'2"
If you don't know your dress shirt sleeve length, the height range will generally work. "Short" is not an insult to your manhood- it's just a measurement.
Bellies: If your belly is as large or larger than your chest, order by your belly size. These jackets are tapered- meaning the waist is about 5 inches smaller than the chest on sizes 36R, 40R, and 44R. There is very little taper on the 48R and 52R.
Trousers: Order your normal waist size. All inseams are 34". Shrinkage of the inseam is about 2".
Do not hem them until they have been washed! Altered garments are not returnable.
