New, imported reproduction of the Assault Vests in olive drab shade 7, issued to some US Army infantrymen and Rangers shortly before the Normandy Landings. They were made in both OD7 and OD3 canvas.

The vests were based on those worn by British Commandos and had been rushed into production so they could be field tested in the invasion. Troops considered them hot, poorly designed and most were quickly discarded. That said, they are famous due to their brief appearance during the Normandy Landings with original examples now rare and very expensive.

As stated, these reproductions are imported. They're made overseas using our patterns and specifications do they're very similar to our USA made models- just 65% cheaper.
