Shoulder sleeve insignia for the Parachute Battalions of the 1st Marine Amphibious Corps.

These did not appear until early 1943 and were worn only on shirts, field jackets and forest green service uniforms (wools). They were rarely if ever worn on P41 or 42 "Utilities" during WWII.
