The blemishes

The problem? The jackets all have 1 or 2 small discolored rectangles on the front, usually between the pockets. That's it.

Otherwise these are top notch reproductions- correct 6.75 oz cotton poplin in OD shade 2, cotton flannel, lining, original pattern, exact Talon zippers. The labels are silk screened like originals- they will also wash out like the authentic ones.

The M1941 (officially known as the O.D. Field Jacket) was standard issue for all US Army (including paratroopers), Air Corps and Marine Corps personnel for almost the entire war. It was worn from early 1942 throughout 1945 and occasionally in the Korean War.

Washing: Hand wash cold hang dry is the best option.

WTF happened? It appears that the adhesive of the tape used to secure the plastic bags they were packed in reacted with the bag and stained the fabric during transit.
Nope, it's not sticky, and the marks don't wash off.
