Instituted on 31 March, 1942. Award for Luftwaffe troops for 3 assault days in ground combat. Heer or SS troops who transferred to the Luftwaffe were required to exchange their Infantry or General Assault badges for these. In November 1944, higher level versions for 25,50, 75 and 100 assault days were introduced but were rarely awarded due to the War ending.
