This is the standard German Army field cap for the latter part of WWII.

We made our pattern directly from a dis-assembled original. Our caps are among the only reproductions that fit like the real thing with the "puff" at the peak. They feature 100% wool body, machine-sewn Heer "Bevo" trapezoid insignia, fold-down ear flaps with ear muff loops, corded buttonholes and 100% cotton twill lining.

We took every minor detail of the originals and included them. The small sewing quirks on the trapezoid, original white fusing under the flap seam, loops for ear muffs, reinforcements for the buttons and buttonholes and leather visor insert.
