Reproduction of the pack carrier for the M1910 and M1928 Haversacks. Commonly called the "diaper" or "pack tail", these extend the pack allowing the entire bedroll to be secured in the haversack. One attaches the carrier to the haversack by threading the leather strap through the buttonholes along the bottom of the pack and on the tail itself.

These are made from the same olive drab no. 3 shade duck canvas as the haversacks.
