Gray wool pad for removing hot machine gun barrels. These were normally carried on the front of the MG Gunner's pouch as shown in photo. Originals were made from an asbestos blend, which we are not able to duplicate due to legal concerns- so ours are thick wool instead.
pad measures 12cm x 17cm.

Historical Reference: WWII pads come in a variety of colors, shapes and variations- here are a few of them. We copied the style in the center.
