Original WWII
Laufschützer 43
. After introducing the model 42, the Germans had an epiphany and realized that it'd be more efficient to make carriers that could hold barrels for both MG34's and MG42's as both guns remained in service. Thus the model 43 was born and remained in production through the end of the War. These were not produced postwar.
We have completely stripped of multiple coats of paint and grease, cleaned, primed and painted a correct shade of
Dunkelgelb
. Lastly we have refitted them with exact reproduction straps and slides, attached with perfect copies of the WWII "LUX" marked clamps.
These carriers are the type made without the hold open latch.
Note: These are 80+ years old and most have some minor dings from use and storage.
Most of these are marked "brc 43" (
Friedrich Weber & Co., Berlin
), plus one or two other makers.
