EMPTY original WWII Tragschlaufe (carry sleeve) with all ammo boxes. The Germans issued small arms ammunition in sleeves that each held varying numbers of rounds depending on the caliber. The ends of the sleeves are held on by web straps secured with a 2 prong buckle (same as used on trousers).

These sleeves held s. S. 7.92 x 57mm (8mm) for rifles and MG's, and sleeve contains 20 boxes that each hold 15 rounds. All are dated 1936-40, and are matching- meaning the labels on each box match the info on the sleeve label. Condition is good for being 85-90 years old. There is no major damage on the sleeves, some labels have slight damage, and the diamond shaped sticker that "sealed" the ends is broken or missing. The individual boxes tend to be in very good shape due to having been contained in the sleeves.

Yes, 8mm blanks fit in these, but they'll be a bit loose as they're shorter than live rounds.
