Second pattern HBT in od#7 (dark shade) jacket used by the US Army, Air Corps, and some Marines. This pattern is the most common wartime issue fatigue jacket. Our jackets feature plain breast pockets with bellows, 13 star tack buttons, spec labels, and button down cuffs.
These are sized just like original W.W.II Jackets- they are a loose fitting fatigue/ field uniform, not an Armani suitcoat. Originals were sized to, theoretically, fit over the wool uniform. Jackets will have a sleeve length of approximately 35".
For more information and photos of originals see the About HBT Uniforms page.
100% Cotton. Imported.
Important sizing note: We have sized our HBT
jackets like the originals; BIG. The fatigue jacket was designed to be
capable of being worn over the wool shirt and the field jacket.
(An original size "38" actually measures 48 inches in the chest.) If
you want them to be more "form fitting," order one size smaller than
normal. We still recommend you order the correct size and keep in mind
that these are supposed to be loose fitting. These were designed as a
work and combat uniform...not an Armani suit.
Shrinkage: Very minimal. By that I mean about 1/2 inch. It's inconsequential.
