Reproduction of the WWII US wool overcoat which were the standard issue cold weather garment for all troops throughout most of the War until finally supplanted by the M1943 Field Jackets. These reproductions are very good, color is excellent and the lining is the proper OD3 cotton twill.

Fit: Order your normal chest size. That's it. No extra computation required.

YES! We do understand that these are overcoats and are meant to be worn on top of other garments- so, the pattern has extra room built into allow for this. I actually added a few inches to the chests and shoulders beyond the measurements on originals, so it's usually possible to go down a size.

Example: I'm a 46 and I still have good freedom of movement when I wear a size Large over a t-shirt, wool shirt and an M43 field jacket.
