This uniform was first used by troops of the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions during Operation Market Garden in September 1944, and was then used for the rest of the War by those units as well as the 17th Airborne.

Sizing:
Jackets are based on one's chest size. Measure around your chest if unsure.
Like originals, our field jackets are large and roomy to allow for base layers underneath. Ordering a larger size will result in a jacket that's too big.

Trousers are sized like modern jeans and casual trousers. Wear a 34 in jeans? Then order a 34. Simple.

Vanity Sizing: Note, modern pants almost always measure one size larger than one's actual waist measurement (to make people feel thinner). Thus, if you wear a "size 34" in jeans, your waist should actually measure 36-37 inches. Yes, it's depressing. Thus, if you measure your waist, then order one size smaller. Example: waist measures 36", order a size 34.
